Dear Parents
Greetings from Notre Dame of Holy Cross!
We are witnessing a new mass movement against corruption in our country. This cancer of corruption affects one and all in our society and hinders the progress of our nation. Can our children be mere spectators while the whole nation takes part in this movement to free our nation of corruption? No! We have decided a novel method of educating our students about this movement. The topic of the daily assembly will be how to fight and overcome this evil. In order to show our solidarity with all those actively participating in this mass movement we have decided that as a symbolic gesture of a corruption free society ,all our students and staff will wear white dress to school on Wednesday. Parents you too encourage your children to take part in this historic movement so that they will have a better society tomorrow. Gandhian dress and Gandhi thopis are also encouraged. Posters and articles that can be displayed on the notice board are welcome. This has nothing to do with politics but purely a civil mass movement for a better tomorrow. You need not purchase new clothes for this. Make use of what you have at home.
The school children are busy preparing for the coming sports day. Therefore there may be some changes in the school timetable. Kindly bear with us.
As for the sports day costumes we have tried to design costumes that can be worn later on. Respective class teachers will intimate you the amount that is to be collected. Therefore, kindly send the money in an envelope and handover them to the teachers or drivers in the busses.
As the teachers have a lot of work after class hours please do not disturb them on a regular basis. You are allowed to meet the teachers of STD 1-VIII in Thursday evening and LKG-UKG parents can meet the teachers on Friday evening after 3.15PM. We will not allow you to meet the teachers on other days unless you have been specially summoned.
It is compulsory for students of STD VI-VIII to write leave letter and get it signed by the parents. Those students who fail to submit their projects will lose marks for the same. Projects are to be assembled in the class room and readymade or parent made projects will not get full marks.
Faithfully
